FAQ - Where to buy, shipping, returns etc
Where to buy
I mostly sell my wares at markets on the Kāpiti Coast and around Wellington. I am at the Paraparaumu Beach market on most Saturday mornings.
Have a look at my Instagram (@jamescarterpottery) for new stock and upcoming markets that I will be at.
I also sell some cups and mugs at Olde Beach Bakery in Waikanae Beach, and Oasis coffee in Coastlands Paraparaumu.
I will be updating this website with stock in future. Most of my items sell quite quickly through the markets so I haven't been uploading stock here.
If there's anything that you are interested in please send me an email (email@example.com) or message me through Instagram.

I hope you enjoy the pots that you order from me. However I know that might not always be the case.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact me. I will accept returns so long as the pot/s have not been used and are returned in the same condition as received by you, within 30 days of receiving your order. You will have to cover the cost of sending items back to me. Once the items are received I will process a refund of your payment.
Imperfections are part of making things by hand. Any imperfection that you see has been inspected and judged to not affect the safety or functionality of the pot. However if you receive a pot that is not fit for use, please contact me with the problem and I will provide a full refund or exchange (with postage covered).
Caring for your pots
My pots have been fired to the clay's vitrification point, which means both the clay and the glaze are water tight. They are dishwasher and microwave safe, but I recommend hand washing for longevity of your pots.
Note that all ceramic items will break if dropped on or struck against hard surfaces. I am not responsible for any breakages due to negligence.
